About the business
Ideal Technologies is a Newcastle based company that supplies and installs security, access control, CCTV, data cabling, optical fibre, MATV and A/V systems in the commercial, industrial and high end residential sector.
We are a fast growing company with projects from the Central Coast to Port Macquarie.
About the role
We are looking for a licenced security/data cabling installer to carry out cabling, installation and programming works across our projects.The work will vary from working alone to being part of a team.
Tasks in this role include -
- Installing cabling (Both data and security)
- Installing CCTV and Access Control systems
- Installing MATV and A/V systems
- Programming and fault finding
- Liaising with customers and wholesalers
- Looking after small projects
- Reading site plans
Skills and experience
- Minimum of 2 years experience in the security or data cabling industry
- Current drivers licence
- Work cover WH&S general induction card
- Current class 2C security licence or Open registration licence
