The opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for 3 Work Group Leaders Signal Electrical to be a part of our Major Works team within Sydney Trains. This position plays a key role in the work allocation of a Signal Work Group and to assist in meeting agreed specifications and scope of works in an effective manner. This position will report to the Team Manager, whilst supporting the Team Leader Signal Electrical to deliver all aspects of projects required.

As the WGL Signal Electrical you will manage the delivery of works while maintaining the safe operation and security of equipment and resources. In addition you will ensure staffs are competent and confident to perform their role and provide effective coaching and leadership to maintain high standards of staff performance.

We are looking for Work Group Leaders who are competent, accredited and qualified Signals Electrician assessed to a 4.3 level We are seeking applications from qualified Signals Electricians whom are Sydney Trains Licenced, with sound knowledge and experience in Rail Signals systems and assets. In addition you must be able to demonstrate frontline supervisory skills, good diagnostic, analytical and problem solving skills coupled with strong communication and collaboration skills. This person must hold an unrestricted Australian Class C drivers licence; and comfortable driving a 4WD/UTE type vehicle.
