A fantastic opportunity is available for an Operations Officer at our Moorebank site in NSW. This is a casual position.
Our Operations Officers assist with the processing of all incoming/outgoing vehicles for auction and preparing the auction selling area. This position is responsible for providing high standards and agreed timeframes, delivering the highest level of care and quality service to customers. This position also involves assisting in all aspects of the logistics business.
The Role:
Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Maintain auction vehicles & loading of auction area
- Liaise with the sales/administration team and truck drivers as required
- Assist with preparation for the auctions i.e. lotting of vehicles
- Ensure that vehicles are conducted in line with pre-defined customer standards and customer specified timeframes
- Photograph all vehicles (front, internal, rear and faults) according to written and verbal instructions, using digital photographic equipment and within the supplied photographic booth
- Accurately book in all vehicles using a hand-held RF scanner or book-in sheet
The ideal candidate
As our successful candidate you will have:
- Logistics system experience related to material warehousing, planning, transportation, and inventory control
- A current manual motor vehicle driver’s license
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Sound decision-making skills
- Intermediate computer skills
