We are in the search for highly skilled Boilermaker to join the team! As a successful candidate, you will be offered a 4-day roster that promotes and encourages a healthy work / life balance. You will work with a great team of skilled Services employees, Supervisors and Coordinators that promote a high safety culture, and are willing to go the extra mile for each other and the Company. You aren't afraid of hard work and you have fun while you're doing it!
The purpose of this role is to provide the practical service provision of conveyor belt maintenance, repair and belt splicing services to the high standards that you set for yourself, your team and our clients.
THE PERSON
Essential
- Boilermaker trade qualification and significant related experience;
- Substantial experience and knowledge in materials handling conveyor belt systems & associated components such as roller identification, roller frames, skirting systems, belt cleaner systems, conveyor belt tracking units, transfer chutes and conveyor structures;
- A strong commitment to safety and quality;
- Current drivers licence;
- Willingness to undergo and pass a police check and pre-employment medical;
- Excellent communication skills, self-motivation and a strong work ethic.
Desirable
- Additional qualifications such as Confined Spaces & Working at Heights tickets;
- Current Dogging and Rigging tickets;
- Current Forklift Licence.
