Experimac, one of the fastest growing tech franchises from the USA and has now entered Australia. Experimac is a local trusted tech source for Apple® product repairs, upgrades, pre-owned sales and trade-ins for iPhones®; iPads® tablets; iMac® computers; MacBook® laptops; accessories and more.

We are now expanding our retail store in Carlton and we require a full-time person to fill the repair technician and retail sales support role.

You do not need to be fully conversant in Apple® IOS or hardware. Full training will be provided for the right candidate, previous experience with Apple® products is a bonus.

Our technical position is suitable for anyone from teenagers who can fix phones, right through to experienced PC repair employees who want to expand their careers. This is a great opportunity for someone with a positive attitude that loves working in a focused and passionate team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnosing technical issues - phones, computers, laptops and tablets
  • Undertaking repairs - phones, computers, laptops and tablets
  • Computer/laptop Upgrades
  • IOS installations – phones, computers, laptops and tablets
  • Troubleshooting user issues
  • Data backup
  • IOS updates
  • Data transfer and recovery
  • Malware removal
  • Computer/laptop setups
  • Customers sales and service
  • Assisting customers with trade-ins
  • Maintaining a neat, clean and professional store
  • Assisting with incoming calls and walk-in customers

We are looking for applicants who possess the following: 

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Team player
  • Meticulous attention to customer satisfaction
  • Available Mon – Fri on a full-time basis (40 hours per week)
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Honest and dependable
  • Prior computer/laptop technical experience preferred
  • Prior phone/tablet/computer/laptop repair experience preferred
  • Prior retail sales experience preferred
