Forte Signs is a well-established sign company who design, manufacture and install all types of signage for our retail, corporate and construction industry clients.
Due to the continued growth in the business, a fulltime Sheet Metal Fabricator is required to join our busy workshop in Keysborough
The Key Responsibility’s for this role is
- The fabrication of signage components using mild steel and aluminium
- Reading and understanding technical drawings
- Welding and fabricating with MIG and TIG machines to high levels of accuracy
- Carry out other processes such as guillotine cutting, folding, rolling and drilling
- Moving materials around the workshop
- Reasonable overtime available
To be successful, you will need to possess the following skills / attributes:
- Trade qualification is ideal but not essential. If not qualified 3-5 years hands on experience is essential
- Experience with aluminium preferred
- Ability to analyse and interpret technical drawings
- Be able to visualise finished product and provide creative input
- Ability to follow instructions and work unsupervised
- Excellent communication and organisation skills
- An eye for detail, being focused on high standards of productivity and quality
- Be punctual and reliable in your attendance
- Own transport and driver’s license
