Established in the Aged Sector, this opening sits with a leading provider. Offering an opportunity based in Eastern suburbs of Melbourne, you will ensure maintnenace works are carried out to a high standard, whilst providing a high level of service to residents.

They currently have a vacancy for a Maintenance Officer to join their team on a temporary basis with an opportunity for permanency. In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality maintenance which will include preventative maintenance, repair works, upkeep of grounds and whilst ensuring the essential sevices and safety.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Coordinate and monitor performance of trades and external contractors
• Management of on-going maintenance plan
• Carry out basic general repairs and maintenance
• Management of the maintenance program
• Planned and unplanned maintenance
• Maintaining compliance with the scheduled building and ground maintenance program
• Ensuring the facility and living environment is presented to a high standard, that is safe for residents
• Trade qualified - not essential

You will be self-motivated and possess strong organisational and time management skills. The ability to interact with others in a professional and considerate manner. You will possess a trade-based understanding of general repairs and maintenance as well as, working knowledge of Work Health and Safety standards and regulatory maintenance frameworks relating to residential aged care.
