Newsome’s Tyres Northside is a leading locally owned and run Tyre Retailer servicing Rockhampton and surrounding areas. We are currently seeking an experienced Store Manager to lead and guide our team of trained service personnel for our range of services offered. We are after an experienced Manager to join our team on a full-time basis.
In this role you would be doing :
* Develop strategies to increase and optimise profitability
* The ability to maintain and grow the current client base
* Managing stock returns, invoicing, credit procedures
* Stock Management:- Ordering, Monitor and Manage stock levels & monthly stock takes
* Report on business performance, sales, new initiatives and relevant issues
* Keep up to date on new products, services & industry trends
* Manage labour including creating maintaining and approval of rosters
Your profile:
To be considered for this opportunity you will have the following qualifications and experience:
* Previous experience in running the day to day operations of a busy tyre store
* Excellent customer service skills
* Previous tyre fitting, balancing and fault diagnosis experience preferred
* Problem solving ability
* Sound knowledge and adherence to OH&S practices
* Strong time management with the ability to work under pressure
* A neat and tidy appearance
* Punctuality, reliability and a good work ethic
* Honesty & Integrity
* Current valid driver’s license - Essential
* Available to work Saturdays on a rotational basis
