About the Company
Our client is a respected company and is located in South Western Sydney, they specialise in the construction of multistory buildings all across Sydney
About the Role
You will be working Monday to Friday, 38 hours per week and some weekend work on various job sites across Sydney metro. Fully paid accommodation if travel is required out of metro area, including meals is supplied.
As a Fabricator/Welder you will be required to Stick Weld the mounting brackets to hold the preformed concrete walls together. Other duties include core drilling concrete, angle grinding and general construction work. Employment is under a labour hire arrangement with the view to going permanent.
Your roles and responsibilities may include but not limited to:
- Stick welding and power tools use.
- Work safely at heights
- Operate elevated work platforms, if licensed
- Carry out interactive workplace communication
- Read plans and calculate quantities
- Work effectively in the building & construction industry
- Carry out WHS requirements
- Handle and store welding materials
- Carry out levelling
- Mark out materials
- Erect and dismantle restricted height scaffolding
About You
The person we're looking for is enthusiastic, hardworking and reliable. You must hold a current car or bike license and have your own vehicle. But most of all we are looking for candidates that have welding experience and the passion for the construction industry.
