About the opportunity
WesTrac is seeking an energetic and team orientated Plant Mechanic to be based in the Goulburn area to service and repair our customer’s machinery.
As the successful applicant you will be required to perform repairs, maintenance and inspections on a range of customer machines. Based in the Goulburn region with an assigned coverage area, you will be performing these duties on our customer's machinery. You will apply your high level of technical skill and expertise to carry out these duties supporting our customer’s success. You will have a strong drive, motivation and direction to succeed and be able to work in a safety conscious environment.
What we're looking for
As the successful candidate you will possess the following skills:
- Proven experience in a similar role
- Mechanical trade qualification
- Familiar with Caterpillar Construction Equipment
- Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong commitment to meeting customer requirements
- Excellent diagnostic and repair skills
- Dedicated to maintaining safe work practices and environment
You will have a proactive approach to your work with demonstrated experience working in high performing teams and have a methodical approach to problem solving.
