MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR
Lake Crackenback Resort is located in the Snowy Mountain’s region of NSW, 10 minutes southwest of Jindabyne, a tourist destination and developing area with perfect prospects for anyone seeking a tree, snow and outdoor adventure lifestyle change. Our resort consists of 4 ½ star Chalets and Lakeside Apartments, all situated on 150 acres adjacent to the Kosciuszko National Park.
This is an excellent opportunity for a dynamic individual to join our maintenance team in a newly created full-time position. The Maintenance Supervisor will provide support to the Maintenance Manager in a 2I C capacity and work with the team to maximise productivity.
This position in conjunction with the Maintenance Manager, will be responsible for the day to day running of all facets of the maintenance department.
To be considered for this positon the following requirements will need to be demonstrated:
- Give clear direction to a team, and be able to plan and priorities
- Basic building, carpentry and painting skills
- Ability to perform minor repairs to kitchen appliances, heaters and lighting
- Night Duty call outs (if back up to other roles required)
- Problem solving ability
- Willingness to learn
- Team orientated
- NSW standard drivers licence
Highly regarded, but not essential:
- Large Resort Experience
- Chainsaw tickets
- LR drivers licence
- Hold trade qualification in either carpentry, plumbing or building
- Water and Sewage operation experience and qualification
You will need to be able to multitask and work with minimum supervision. This position would suit someone who is a good communicator. Due to the nature of this position, regular work outside of normal office hours, including weekends, early morning and/or late night shifts will be required.
