Seaton Aged Care Facility
The Society of Saint Hilarion Inc. Aged Care is a not for profit organisation providing Residential Aged Care and Home Care services with an emphasis on family and community values for people predominately of Italian origin.
Applications are invited for this permanent full time position, Maintenance Officer at our Seaton site. If you are interested in becoming a member of the maintenance team and have previous employment experience in delivering maintenance services please refer to the application details below.

Key requirements
- Able to independently coordinate assigned maintenance tasks and complete the work accurately and within scheduled time limits.
- Maintain a pro-active attitude to work and towards co-workers, willing to assist others to be successful.
- Readily understands and undertakes directions and is able to accurately report issues.
- Provides direction to external contractors and assesses services delivered.
- Maintain timely communications and identifies risks to people, services and systems.
- Able to respond to the flexible demands expected of aged care environment and to work within a team responsible for out of hours maintenance issues.
Experience and demonstrated ability
- A working knowledge of maintenance systems in a large facility.
- Excellent problem solving skills, reliable safe work practices and able work to deadlines.
- Competent computer skills, MS Outlook, Word & Excel
Candidates will have a current National Police Certificate and evidence of the right to work in Australia.
