We are seeking expressions of interest from experienced Gardeners to join our hard working and dedicated team on a Full Time basis for an immediate start at our Noyea Riverside Village.

In this role you will:

• Maintain gardens and grounds to a high professional standard, as directed by the Village Manager
• Keep all work areas and equipment clean and tidy
• Provide indoor plant maintenance and irrigation system management
• Manage gardening in a timely and cost effective manner
• Operate all vehicles and plant in a safe manner, following all relevant regulations
• Conduct tree work, bowling green and turf management
• Coordinate with maintenance personnel when required
• Attend to requests from residents in a respectful and enthusiastic manner to their garden areas
• Renovate and refurbish existing gardens
• Manage of lawn care and irrigation
• Other ad hoc jobs as required e.g. moving furniture

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Experience liaising with other grounds staff on grounds issues as required
• A genuine interest in horticulture and landscaping
• A clean manual drivers licence
• Knowledge of legislative OH&S requirements
• Ability to work well within a small team, follow directions and carry out duties autonomously
• The ability to develop strong professional relationships within the team and with residents
