Job responsibilities
You will be responsible for the collection of kerbside bins, rubbish, and recycling to assist the driver in meeting contractual requirements. This position will also include the following:
- The unloading of waste collection vehicles on return to the depot
- Assist in the cleaning and general maintenance of vehicles when required
- Operate vehicle to dispose of garbage and return bins to collected area
Skills and experience
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:
- HR licence – desirable
- Mechanical aptitude
- Strong customer service ethic
- Good attitude with the willingness to work as part of a team
- Commitment to safety
- Experience in the waste industry would be highly regarded
