Our Client
Our client, is a multi-national leading manufacturer of electronic equipment used for various industries including the Rail Industry.
We are now seeking to appoint an experienced and qualified Spray Painter where your key objective will be to undertake spraying painting duties in both an overhaul and new parts capacity.
The Role
Based in Hallam and reporting directly to the Production Manager, your key duties will include spraying of both new and restored parts (matt finish) as well as some general warehouse duties (30%)
Other duties include:
- Paint preparation to achieve the desired colour, consistency and specifications requirements
- Preparation and cleaning of all spraying equipment
- Inventory of paint stock levels and record control
- Support the warehouse staff when required with assembly and disassembly of parts
- Picking of goods ready for despatch
- Labelling
- Contribute to continual improvement and safety improvement processes
- Monday to Thursday 7.15am to 4.00pm and Friday 7.15am to 12.15pm
The Successful Candidate
Not only will the successful applicant will possess outstanding communication skills, in addition we require:
- Trade Certificate (Nationally recognised Painting Certification)
- LF Forklift License (willing to train)
- Willingness to work across application (spraying) and warehouse duties
- Full understanding of Workplace Health and Safety
- Understanding of manufacturing environment protocols, processes and procedures
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task
- Basic computer literacy skills
Note: The successful candidates must be willing to undergo Medical, Audiometric and Drug & Alcohol testing.
