Chubb Fire & Security, an industry leader and part of the UTC group of companies, is seeking a Vehicle Fire Suppression Technician to join our Brisbane team. This position involves servicing Fire Protection Systems and Equipment to Chubb Fire & Security’s agreed standard of quality and excellence, whilst exceeding customer service expectations.
Ideally you will have experience in the Fire Protection Industry servicing Pre Engineered Fire Suppression Systems.
Your responsibilities will be:
- To service Fire Protection Systems and equipment to Chubb Fire Safety standards of quality and delivery excellence whilst exceeding customer service expectations at every available opportunity.
- Identify, Install and repair fire protection and safety systems and equipment
OPERATIONAL:
- Identify, service, and repair fire protection and safety systems and equipment in accordance Chubb Fire Safety procedures and processes
- Effectively manage available time and resources, and be proactive in problem solving and troubleshooting
- Survey customer machines and recommend fire protection and safety systems and equipment, in accordance with Chubb Fire Safety procedures and processes
- Complete and provide evidence of maintenance performed on fire protection systems and equipment using the CFS Logbooks and associated documents, in an accurate, legible and timely manner
- Manage and maintain all assigned company property, including documents, tools, equipment, vehicles, product, etc
- Comply with all company policies, procedures, and processes
- Attend all scheduled training programs and be flexible and receptive in approach to training and development
CUSTOMER SERVICE:
- Provide assistance to customers in the use of fire and safety equipment
- Comply with all Customer requirements, as defined by the Customer contract
ENVIRONMENT, HEALTH & SAFETY:
- Comply with the EH&S Policy and applicable regulatory and company EH&S rules and requirements
- Report to supervisor conditions or practices that are either unsafe or that may adversely impact the environment, to ensure prompt resolution of potential hazards
You will need the following attributes:
- Self-motivated with the ability to work in an unsupervised environment
- Professional, proactive, can do attitude and a willingness to learn and develop skills as required
- Punctual, and well presented
- High quality, EH&S, and Ethical standards
- Current Driver’s Licence
- You may be expected to travel and spend time away from home
