- Guaranteed $925 per week - plus occasional overtime when available

Brisbane Markets Limited (BML) owns and operates the Brisbane Markets site at Rocklea which is Queensland's major centre for the marketing and distribution of fresh fruit and vegetables. We are currently seeking an experienced security professional to provide strong support and security services to our customers, staff, visitors, stakeholders and other market users on site.
As a Security Officer your duties and responsibilities will include:
- Monitoring and supporting security on site in both gatehouse operations and roving patrols
- CCTV monitoring duties
- Responding and controlling emergency situations as required
- Providing a high level of customer service to all stakeholders
- Communicating effectively and being able to verbally diffuse any situations of conflict
- Contributing towards effective control of traffic management onsite
- Ensuring the Brisbane Markets Regulations and site rules are maintained and adhered to
- Performing routine facility checks and reporting any faults and damages
Candidates that can meet a majority of the following criteria are more likely to be successful in this recruitment process.
- Current Queensland Security License
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Current Queensland Driver's License
- Previous experience working in a similar security role
- Strong customer service skills and solutions focus
- Proven organisational skills in basic administration including the preparation of daily reports and logs
- Intermediate Computer Skills
