Diamond Communications, a subsidiary of Ausdrill Limited, operate in the fields of telecommunications and underground power networks.
Our construction teams specialise in horizontal directional drilling (HDD) trenching, hauling, ploughing, splicing, testing and commissioning for power and telecommunications cable installation.
Due to an increase in our work activity, we require an experienced Excavator Operators (1.5 to 3.0 tonne only). The successful Applicant will be working on Western Power sites in and around the metropolitan area and will ideally have Western Power accreditation. You will need extensive experience in operating an excavator near roads, rail lines and along street verges to install cables and pipes. This can be delicate work so previous experience in this situation is required.
To apply for this position, you must:
- Have a proven understanding of safety in the industry
- Be Western Power Accredited (Network Authority Card) ideally
- Hold a current High Risk LE (excavator) ticket
- Have a valid MR licence or equivalent
- Current construction White Card
- Be keen to establish a long term career in the industry
