The Company
  
Our client is an established company providing fire services in Northwest Sydney. They are looking for licensed Electricians who have experience as Fire Technicians or at least with previous experience in the fire industry and cable installations.
  
While local candidates will be given priority, outstanding international candidates may also be considered for employment with 457 visa sponsorship.    

The Role

The successful candidate is expected to work with Project/ Operation Managers to install fire systems to meet design and deadlines. Ideally the person has the ability to plan ahead, ensuring a high quality of workmanship is maintained.
  
The ideal candidate for this position will have a strong attention to detail and be keen to develop skills to ensure progression to a Leading Hand role in the future. The key to success in this position is your ability to working closely with others and interest in learning new skills.
  
Ideal Skills and Attributes:

• Previous experience in the fire industry;
• Good written and spoken communication skills;
• Confidence in planning and installing electrical/fire system installations;
• Demonstrate a strong sense of initiative with the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment and the confidence in your skills to make decisions;
• ACMA Licence
• Willingness to further develop your fire compliance skills.

  
Key Requirements:

• NSW A Grade Electrical License;
• Drivers Licence;
• Ability to undertake a federal police check;
• Ability to interpret construction drawings;
• White Card;
• Experience in installation of fire systems in commercial and construction environments;
• Good communication skills;
• Ability to learn new software package.
