Diesel Mechanic
Qualified and experienced Diesel Mechanic required for afternoon shift in the South Eastern suburbs of Melbourne. This is an ongoing and secure position that will become permanent after a successful trial period of not less than 13 weeks.
The job involves preventative maintenance and repairs on a range of mostly HR front-lift compactor trucks and some hook lifts. The ability to MIG weld for basic repair purposes is a bonus as is an HR truck license and forklift license. You are also expected to have your own basic tools as any decent mechanic would. The workshop supplies all other tools.
Overalls will be supplied and cleaned and a medical will need to be passed before commencement. An induction will be conducted on site before starting. Hours are 2pm till 10:30pm Mon to Thursday and 11am till 7:30pm Fridays. Successful applicants will also need to meet with the on site supervisor for a brief interview.
