Berendsen Fluid Power is Australia's largest locally owned hydraulic company offering the nation's most comprehensive range of fluid power products, service and repair facilities and system solutions.
Our Sydney Branch is currently seeking a Hydraulic Technician to join our Wetherill Park Service division. This role offers the opportunity to work with some of Australia's leading manufacturing companies, providing timely and accurate hydraulic services and support.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Undertaking fault finding and diagnostic works on a wide range of hydraulic equipment
- Onsite preventative maintenance and repairs
- Hydraulic tube and pipework installations
- Assist workshop staff in the rebuilding hydraulic pumps, motor and cylinders
- Compile service reports including recommendations for system improvements
To be considered for this role you must have
- Experience in hydraulic troubleshooting
- The ability to read and intrepid hydraulic schematics
- Understand the fundamentals of hydraulic maintenance practices
- The ability to rebuild hydraulic piston pumps will be highly regarded
- High customer service skills and presentation
- Ability to communicate clearly with colleagues and customers alike
- Availability to work occasional over time including weekends
- Ability to compile clear service reports
- Willingness to undergo a pre-employment medical
