About the Company
Our Client, a leading Australian Chemical Manufacturer in Wetherill Park are seeking an experienced Fitter/Welder for an ongoing role within their maintenance team.
About the Role
This role consists of general maintenance of the plant machinery; maintaining and repairing pumps, welding of pipes and fabricating brackets. Experience in Tig, Stick and MIG Welding is required. This role would suit an experienced fitter / welder who has worked in a manufacturing environment previously.
Essential Criteria
Qualifications required:
- Welder qualifications
- Fitter qualification +/or experience
- Confined Space Ticket (desirable)
- Experience in maintenance and repairing of pumps and pipe
- Experience in welding – Tig, Mig and Stick
- Own transport
- Be located in the Sydney West area - overseas applicants need not apply
