Kelly Services are proud to be a long-standing partner of this pharmaceutical business in Brisbane and due to an impending retirement we are now seeking the services of a suitably qualified mechanical fitter to join the business on a permanent basis to conduct all ongoing maintenance requirements in the business.
The role:
- Conduct day to day maintenance of the manufacturing facility including ongoing service and repair of tablet presses, breakdown repair of machinery and general maintenance of the facility
- Ongoing maintenance of the AC systems
- Management of external relationships with parts suppliers
- Repair and maintenance of pumps including strip down and repair of pumps
- Maintenance of PLC’s
- Large variety of tasks including painting and other general ad hoc tasks
- Set hours of 7am to 3:06pm Monday to Friday
About You:
- Trade qualified as a mechanical/maintenance fitter
- Previous experience in a pharmaceutical environment is required
- Experience with GMP, PLC’s and VDU’s
- Strong ability to communicate with other departments
- Able to work independently
- Have a general interest in the pharmaceutical industry
