Mechanical Fitter - Fill and Pack specialist
We have immediate vacancies for qualified mechanical fitters to work on afternoon shift 4 days on- 3 days on fortnight in Northern & Western Suburbs.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Trouble shooting, repair and maintenance and PM on following equipment
Automated liquid fill and pack machines
Capping, labelling, cartooning machines
Freeze dryers
Root cause analysis to improve plant reliability
Machine / line changeovers
Shut down work at predetermined intervals
Ensure maintenance documentation is completed in a professional manner
Strong commitment to OHS - JSA's, permit systems
Read / understand and working off drawings
Requirements:
Trade qualifications - fitter & turner
Fork lift / EWP license / confined space ticket
Must have fill and pack working experience of at least 3 years.
Hydraulic / pneumatic experience
Quick learner with an enthusiastic attitude
Team oriented but can work autonomously when required
Preferably hands on experience within the Food industry
Must be able to do weekday and weekend OT & after hours callouts
Basic computer skills
On the job training will be provided to cope with industry specific equipment and work requirements.
