The Role

We have an oppotunity for an Electrician to work on-site within a new hospital facility. The Site Electrician will contribute to the day-to-day operation and proactive/reactive maintenance requirements for the site.

• Perform day to day electrical maintenance and repair tasks throughout the facility
• Based on 40 hours per week, being available to do weekend/daily over-time as required
• After hours and on-call availability
• Undertake electrical replacement and breakdown maintenance when required within scope of qualifications and experience
• Assist other staff and contractors where needed
• Undertake equipment inspections as part of preventative maintenance job plan
• Participate in near miss, hazard and incident  reporting and follow up on corrective actions

Skills & Experience

• Relevant technical qualifications in Electrical Services
• OH&S / WA / environmental legislations & systems training
• Asbestos awareness training highly desired
• EWP (elecated work platform) licence highly desired
• Current White card
• Working knowledge of other trades/services e.g. Plumbing, Refrigeration, etc.
• Demonstrated drive and commitment to continuous improvement and a commitment to high quality service delivery
• Demonstrated problem solving abilities
• Previous experience working at Critical Environments or Hospitals highly desirable
