Your new company
Our client based in Melbourne’s Western suburbs, is a highly successful family run national food manufacturing business. With an extensive range including herbs, spices and baking products this company pride themselves on their humble beginning to their national presence within the market, where they currently supply both major supermarkets
Your new role
As a Maintenance Electrician you will be working autonomously, reporting to the Engineering Manager and be responsible for;
- Preventative and reactive maintenance, installation and commissioning of new equipment
- Monitoring and troubleshooting of PLCs, diagnosing the root cause of problems
- Sourcing parts, accessories and components
- Coordination and liaising with contractors and other staff
Normal working week is Monday to Thursday 6am to 4pm, overtime is available in peak production periods and as operationally need.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role you will have extensive experience as an Electrician working in the food, food packaging and pharmaceutical manufacturing, be willing to go the extra mile and a proactive attitude, coupled with the following;
- A-grade license
- Dual trade is desirable but not essential
- Experience and/or qualified with HV and PLCs
- Experienced working within a fast paced food, food packaging and pharmaceutical manufacturing
- Hands on approach and able to work autonomously and as part of a team
