Avtech Engineering is a well established WA business with over 30 years experience in our industry.

We are one of the leaders in the manufacturing Jobbing shop industry. You will be working with the latest technology in CNC machines in our modern workshop, machining mining and sub-sea components.

Due to expanding work load .Extensions to our workshop  and new machines arriving , we are looking for trades people that want a challenging roll and the opportunity to grow and work with the latest tooling and machinery. You will be programming, setting and operating multi axis CNC machinery.

To be considered for this position, you will have some or all of the following:

• A background in fast paced environment of small batch machining.
• Trade Certificate and minimum of 5 years experience.
• Mazak Lathe setting/programming experience with live tooling Essential

• Okuma Mills setting/programing (IGF and Cad/Cam experience)

• Mazak Integrex and EDM wirecut experience highly regarded

• Select correct tooling using Matrix vending machine .
• Good understanding of feeds and speeds for a variety of materials
• Ability to comprehensively read and understand engineering drawing
• Be prompt, reliable, efficient and work unsupervised

We are offering an immediate start, permanent full-time position in a very secure company with a good pay rate based on your skills and experience.

37.5 hour week + regular overtime ,with overtime rates payed as per the award (T1/2 + double time)
