The Parks Operations department aims to provide attractive, safe and well maintained parks, public places and environment for passive and active recreation that enables quality urban life while protecting and conserving the natural environment. 

The City currently has an excellent opportunity for two General Hands who are multi-skilled to actively contribute to our newly created parks maintenance team.  These positions are responsible for providing high quality landscape maintenance to reserves within the City.

To be successful you will need to demonstrate that you are able to work well within a team, the proven ability to provide great customer service and experience in landscape maintenance.

You will also need to demonstrate that you are able to meet the role’s requirements which are outlined in the position description. 

Essential requirements: A current National Police Clearance, “MR” class driver’s licence. To qualify for the level 5 Salary a minimum of a Certificate III in Horticulture is required.

Salary outlined below:

$67,022 (Level 5 – Qualified)

$63,916 (Level 4 – Unqualified)
