Our Client located in Sydney West, provides a full range of standard to customised work Sheet Metal work. Management are now seeking a 1st Class Sheet Metal Worker to join their busy team.
The Role
The Role reports to the Factory Manager. Working hours are: Monday to Thursday 6.00am - to 2.30pm and Friday 6.00am to 12 noon.
Your responsibilities include:
- Read and Interpret Drawings
- Working out measurements from Drawings
- Mark Development
- Duct Work
- Working with Stainless Steel and Aluminium etc
- Mig and Tig Welding
- Soldering
- Guidance to less experienced staff
- Quality Assurance - signing off on final product
- Material List
- Operating machines such as: Pan Brake Folder and Guillotine
- Fill in accurately required paperwork
Essential Criteria
- Qualifications as a 1st Class Sheet Metal Worker
- Experience as a Sheet Metal Worker
- Solid Experience in Mig and Tig Welding
- Experience in Duct work is desirable
- Be a team player
- Possess a high work ethic
