Bush Regeneration Gardener

Currently seeking an experienced Bush Regeneration Gardener for a temporary role based in Sydney's Northern Suburbs to undertake work associated with the conservation and maintenance of Council’s Natural Environment and Bushland in particular Council’s bush regeneration and pest species programs.  You may also be required to participate in hazard reduction burning activities.

This role is more specific and requires an interest in bush regeneration and weed control. They will work as part of a team doing maintenance weeding in Council’s sensitive bushland environments. This role is for someone who has a keen interest in native plants and conservation.

For this role you must have; 

• White Card Essential 
• Previous experience in bush regeneration or volunteering experience in this field 
• Experience with weeding, fence maintenance and planting seedlings

• Previous council experience is desirable 
• Certificate in Land and Conservation desirable 
• Desirable to have a chem cert 

This will be a hands-on role for the right person.

The successful applicant will be a self-starter, be able to work on own initiative and be available to start work at 6:30am.
