Diamond Communications is a subsidiary of Ausdrill Limited and operate in the fields of telecommunications and underground power networks.

Our construction teams specialise in horizontal directional drilling (HDD), trenching, hauling, ploughing, splicing, testing and commissioning for power and telecommunications cable installation.

Due to increased demand in Perth - Western Australia, local opportunities exist for vermeer and ditchwitch experienced Horizontal Directional Drillers to operate and track drill heads.

Using the above equipment, candidates will need to be experienced at drilling under roads, rail lines and along street verges avoiding surrounding utilities to install cable and pipe for communications and power. The ideal candidate will also have the ability to operate a number of small earth moving machines and work under limited supervision.

This is a great opportunity for someone to further progress in this industry as training and development will be provided offering opportunities for promotion to various roles throughout the company.

The successful candidate will ideally have;

• Telstra recognised accreditations preferred
• Be able to interpret construction drawings
• Horizontal Directional Drilling Experience
• Current Forklift ticket
• Basic Worksite Traffic Management (RIIOHS302A)
• HR Drivers license
• White Card
• A pro-active view to OH&S
• Be organized, motivated, reliable and have good planning skills
