Fleet Manager (Chipping Norton)

Experienced Fleet Manager with a truck background needed for an Australian owned transport company  $80 - $100k + super . 

 
We are working with an Australian owned and operated transport company. With 200 pieces of equipment this family oriented business has had a period of growth and are now looking for someone with a truck industry background to become their Fleet Manager.  
 
The Position

• Manage regos and all sublet repairs
• Scheduling of servicing
• Reporting on maintenance costs. Must be able to manage that process
• Mon – Fri 6am to 7pm are the office hours. 10 hr days are not unusual
• Generally no breakdowns after hours

 
The Person

• Strong mechanical / transport background
• Truck safe or NHVS experience would be ideal BUT not essential
• Ability to lead and develop staff in a high performing team
• Well organised and good computer skills
• Knowledge of freight 2020. You will need to get this up and running.
