About the business and the role
Binbirri Contracting is a Pilbara owned local Indigenous Earthmoving Company. Our goal is to create employment and training opportunities for local Indigenous people and establish relationships with other Pilbara based Indigenous businesses.
This position will provide quality maintenance support including both scheduled & preventative maintenance and breakdowns to our fleet of trucks and heavy earthmoving plant. You will possess high quality diagnostic skills, be a positive team player and have a total commitment to safety.
This role is based at our operations centre in Port Hedland, and may require some travel to various civil and mining projects within the Pilbara area as required.
The Role offered on residential or FIFO (Australia wide applicant considered).
Job Requirements
- Australian recognised Auto-Electrical trade qualification
- Experience with road transport and heavy earthmoving plant
- Current Drivers License
- Automotive refrigeration ticket highly regarded
