EEI specialises in the supply of Electricians to the Construction, Mining and Oil and Gas industries throughout Australia. Currently we are seeking Electrician with Industrial Construction experience for multiple positions.

Our client is a major supply of industrial electrical equipment to the mining industry and currently have a need for electricians with industrial construction experience. These positions have a 6 month duration. If you have worked in an industrial construction environment and can perform the tasks listed below please apply.

These are Perth based positions.

Immediate Start

10 hour days Mon - Fri, Half day Saturday. This will increase further into the project.

Task to be performed

• Build cable tray
• Terminate cables including
  • XLPE SDI
  • Orange circular multi core
  • Steel Wired Armoured
  • Earth cables
  • Decron
  • Control wiring
• Terminate Switchboards
• Install gland plates
• Install electrical devices
• Install Switchgear
• Other electrical work associated with industrial installations

 Other requirements you will need to be considered for this job.

• WA A Grade Electrical Licence - or the ability to obtain one.
• Construction experience on industrial electrical equipment.
• Any switchboard termination or building would be an advantage.
• Minimum 2 years experience.
• A can do attitude is necessary.
• Have a proven ability to build repore with other employees
• Construction white Card.
• Working at Heights - an advantage but not vital
• EWP Ticket - an advantage but not vital
• Any other qualifications would be benficial
• A very good safety record.
• Ability to pass a stringent medical and a Drug and Alcohol test.
