We have now opened job opportunities for Metal Workers / Boilermakers to help us ensure that we meet delivery of our products, projects and to exceed our customer expectations. You have the chance to be part of a newly launched metal works team within an innovative and supportive organisation located on new premises. Immediate start for the right applicants!
What is my role there?
Reporting to the Metal Works leader, you will be responsible for the following:
· Fabricating and welding metal products to comply with drawings and meet AS4100 & AS/NZS 1554.1 fabrication and welding standards.
· To share your valued metals knowledge and experience within the new SA Structural Metal Works business, to develop with a motivated team and make a difference to better producing metal products for various projects and clients, both locally and nationally
What do I need to bring to succeed?
· Trade qualification in metal fabrication or 2+ years' experience within the metal trade industry, particularly Metalwork fabrications, and sheet metal experience
· Minimum Cert II Fabrication
· Confident in both MIG and ARC welding and able to pass a welding or fabrication test
· Able to read and understand engineering drawings
· Have a current White card
· Ability Tig weld stainless
· Strong commitment to safety and WHS policies and procedures
· Excellent communication and good interpersonal skills
· Able to work unsupervised and/or as part of a team
· Be reliable and have a sound work ethic
· Physically fit
· Previous experience on site would be an advantage
