Gee Beauty & Nails Hawthorn is looking for an experienced Nail technician to join the Gee team!
Who we are:
Gee Beauty is a boutique nail & beauty salon in Hawthorn with a very strong focus on providing exceptional quality & care to all our clients.
We have built our strong reputation on providing nothing but top-quality work in a professional, relaxing & non-rushed salon. We want to build personal relationships with our clients, not rush them out the door before we know their name!
We're a booking based salon (90% of clients are bookings) with a very loyal clientele and due to growth we're looking for a new nail technician / beauty therapist.
We're only a small team of 3 but we're a bubbly group and like to make work fun! We're looking for someone who is a team player, with high energy, has a flair for customer service and a passion for the beauty industry!
The successful applicant will possess the following skills / qualifications:
- Minimum Certificate 3 in Beauty Therapy or Nail Technology
- At least one years experience working in a nail/beauty salon
- Salon experience & confident with manicures & pedicures using nail varnish and shellac/gel polish
- Confident & experience using an electric drill/e-file.
- Confident answering phone calls, greeting clients & using a booking system
- Strong communication / interpersonal skills
- Someone who is a team player, reliable & punctual
- Someone who likes to have fun and have a laugh!
- Experience with SNS & Acrylic nail applications will be highly regarded
- Experience with waxing /or Eyelash extensions will be highly regarded
