We are a local Gold Coast equipment manufacturing and repair company that specialises in truck mounted equipment for the civil and construction industries.
The Role:
Your focus will be to provide hydraulic / mechanical expertise and support to the business both in the workshop and on site.
The desired candidate will have a trade qualification, relevant hydraulic / mechanical aptitude and skills, as well as on the job experience working on heavy vehicles, earthmoving or construction equipment.
Key responsibilities & skills will include:
- Carry out hydraulic installation of components on truck mounted equipment and accurately carry out flow and pressure checks using a flow meter and other test gauges during installation to ensure that the components function as designed at all times
- Schematics – recording and reporting findings/observations where necessary.
- Hydraulic hose manufacturing and fitting
- Mechanical repairs and servicing of truck mounted equipment
- Welding, fabrication and machining skills
- High level of attention to detail.
- Be a flexible team player willing and able to work overtime as required to ensure customer and business needs are met
- You will possess strong communication skills, safety focused, be self-motivated, work well within a team, a positive attitude and desire to learn and develop with a progressive industry leader.
- Current drivers licence required. Forklift ticket highly regarded.
