The company

With a reputation for developing and delivering innovative software solutions to the automotive, motorcycle and marine industries, our client is currently seeking to appoint a Support Consultant to join its Support Services team based in Parramatta.

The role

In this position, you will be responsible for supporting dealership customers with DMS enquiries and technical issues as well as delivering quality service outcomes in line with agreed service target levels.

Key tasks include:

  • Handling incoming incident tickets and service requests over the phone and via the internal portal, including technical support;
  • Managing customer expectations and providing prompt responses;
  • Liaising with customers through written communication and well as over the phone;
  • Utilising existing dealership DMS experience to problem solve;
  • Develop and implement process improvement where required.

The successful candidate

As a key player in the achievement of dealership satisfaction, you will naturally be a team player with strong customer service and problem solving skills. Along with this, key criteria includes:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience working within a dealership environment, either within the automotive, motorcycle or marine industries;
  • Experience in a dealership Service or Parts Department, as a Service Advisor, Assistant/ Department Manager, Parts Interpreter or similar;
  • Comprehensive hands-on experience navigating through DMS databases;
  • Sound knowledge of dealership operations;
  • A strong focus and commitment to always providing high level customer service
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • The ability to work autonomously.
