About the Role
Our client is seeking an Installation and Maintenance Plumbing Technician to support the expansion of their business. The role will be working with storm water devices.
  
Key responsibilities will include:

• accessing underground tanks to install/service storm water treatment products
• Confined space work
• Service work in high risk areas – petrol stations / fuel farms
• Assemble tanks and systems using hand tools
• Measure, cut and weld polyethylene pipe and fittings
• Measure, cut and glue pvc pipe and fittings
• Fabricate pvc and poly pipe manifolds  

To be successful for this role you must have the following:

• Previous experience in the plumbing industry would be highly regarded
• Previous experience with cutting welding and gluing poly and pvc pipe
• Good hand eye coordination
• Excellent English reading and writing skills
• Excellent knowledge & skills in the use of all types of hand and power tools
• Cutting and welding of polyethylene & steel
• Effective time management and self-discipline
• Current fork lift license
