Your New Company
Based in Cleveland on Brisbane's Bayside, we are one of Brisbane's leading suppliers of Structural Steel & high quality Aluminium products to the residential housing industry. Known for our short lead times and strong customer focus, we are searching for a Factory Maintenance Electrician to join our team of Boilermakers and Welders.
Your New Role
The position will be responsible for the following duties (including, but limited to):
- Servicing, repairs and adjustments on electrical equipment/hand tools & machinery ie changing blades and maintenance
- Testing and tagging of electrical equipment
- Maintenance of Equipment Servicing Register
- Organise external repairs on machinery when required
- General repairs and maintenance on property
What you'll need to succeed
- Experience servicing a variety of workshop tools and equipment.
- A strong work ethic with a friendly, positive attitude
- Current drivers licence is essential and own transport
- Good communication skills and presentable appearance
- Ability to work well within a team and demonstrating reliability.
- Physically fit and healthy to ensure you can perform your role safely & effectively
- Ability to use excel and basic computer knowledge
- Safety First mindset and always acts in a manner that promotes a culture of health and safety.
- Electrical Work Licence (Electrical Fitter and/ Electrical Mechanic) required
