Our Plant
Our Gibson Island manufacturing plants produce Ammonia, Urea, CO2 as well as granulated fertiliser products. The Gibson Island Urea plant is the only high-pressure urea plant operating in the world, with a reactor pressure of 450 atmospheres. The site also has a 160tpd Liquid Carbon Dioxide Plant that supplies half the liquid CO2 in Queensland and is the main source for CO2 in carbonated soft drinks in Qld and Northern NSW.
About the Role
This role will see you lead the Brisbane Operations Electrical and Instrumentation Maintenance Team (employees & contractors) to safely and efficiently execute plant maintenance activity. You will be focused on adhering to the highest safety standards and actively contribute to continuous improvement activities.
Duties
- Execution of maintenance to achieve Plant Availability targets
- Support continuous improvement of processes, systems and methodology
- Leading the workforce in a manner consistent with the Brisbane Operations Enterprise Agreement(s).
- Foster and implement work management processes to meet work management KPI’s.
Skills & Experience
To ensure success in your application you will have a proven track record with leading a maintenance team complimented by a trade qualification with experience in a chemical or gas processing plant as well as:
- Demonstrated history of delivering effective maintenance cost and improvement outcomes.
- High level technical knowledge with an emphasis upon sustainable and cost-effective maintenance solutions.
- Demonstrated history of improving plant performance and reliability.
- SAP Maintenance knowledge.
