We are currently seeking a 1st year plumbing apprentice for an IMMEDIATE START to join our busy team in Oakleigh.
As one of our 1st year apprentices, you will be expected to participate in our unique in house apprentice training program. This program has been designed to offer our apprentices a structured learning environment which will ensure that you are trained in all areas of plumbing relevant to heating, cooling and ventilation industry. The aim of this program is to provide the best possible learning environment for our apprentices and in turn produce extremely competent tradesmen as we realize that our apprentices are our future tradesman.
We also realize that any time spent training will result in a long term benefit to the company. Should you be the successful candidate you will lean all aspects of air conditioning and ventilation installations in large domestic and commercial situations.
As an apprentice you will need to possess the following attributes:-
- Self-discipline
- A positive attitude
- Great communication skills
- The desire to work hard
- The willingness to learn
- High standards of work ethic and presentation
- Ability to work safely
- Ability to take instructions from senior staff members and other apprentices
- Hold a current MANUAL driver's license and be able to drive a manual vehicle.
- Red or White card is preferred
- Completion of VCE or equivalent preferred.
- Completion of a pre - apprenticeship course would be an advantage however not accentual.
