The Position
We are currently seeking an experienced Cleaning Supervisor for our aged care facility in Bayswater. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering cleaning services and managing a team of 10 to 12 cleaning staff.
Key Duties (but not limited to):
- Rostering team members, staff training and development and performance management
- Overseeing cleaning of rooms, offices, dining room, reception areas and staff room with hands on attitude
- Completing audits and inspections, including follow up office based reports and paperwork
- Co-ordinating vacate and exit cleaning of rooms when residents leave
- Liaising with nursing staff and client management regarding cleaning requirements
The Person
- Solid understanding of Healthcare cleaning
- Previous supervisory experience in a similar role or in an aged care facility
- Excellent people skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
In line with the Legislation, a Valid and Current National Police check will be required as part of the standard recruitment and selection process for this position.
