A rewarding opportunity exists for the right individual to join our growing and genuinely high end, forward thinking electronic security company based in Keysborough installing the latest security products and servicing high profile corporate and commercial clients predominantly located in the Melbourne metropolitan area.

The role includes predominantly on site existing premises works for an experienced, motivated installation technician who enjoys a variety of interesting work but without the pressure of being expected to already know (or want to know) how to program the latest leading edge security products.

Experienced tradespeople / technicians with comparable installation skills in other specialised fields such as electrical, data, phone, intercom etc are also encouraged to apply.

We provide the essentials such as uniform, vehicle, mobile phone, laptop and major tools.

Applicants MUST have the following to be considered;

• Hold a current Victorian manual drivers license.
• Hold (or be able to quickly obtain) a current "Electronic Security System Individual License" (Requires police check etc).
• Hold (or be able to quickly obtain) a current "OHS" card (Red card, White card etc).
• Hold (or be able to quickly obtain) a current "Open Cabling" communications cabling license.
• Hold (or be able to quickly obtain) a current "Working with Children" license (Requires police check etc).
• Hold (or be able to quickly obtain) a current "Elevated Work Platform" license.

As an ideal candidate it would be desirable for you to;

• Have genuine experience (No high level engineering or programming experience required) in installing (cabling, equipment mounting, wiring connections etc) electronic security technology such as CCTV, intruder security and access control products.
• Have a presentable, neat and clean appearance for working in both work site and corporate environments.
• Have the ability to be a true team member &/or team leader (we rarely have staff work alone).
• Have an excellent work ethic and self motivation.
• Have confidence in communicating with all customers with a well spoken and professional manner.
• Have competent English writing and spelling skill.
• Enjoy learning new skills along the way.
