About the Role:
Our Recruitment & Management Services (RMS) Division is currently seeking to appoint a full-time Onsite Trainer to be based at our Olympic Dam site (560kms north of Adelaide).
Reporting to the Onsite Training and Development Manager, this role is responsible for the delivery of a structured orientation program for new Apprentices to enable them to gain essential trade skills and knowledge surrounding mechanical trades.
The Onsite Trainer will help foster an environment of progression towards zero harm throughout this package and as the apprentices move towards mine designated work areas.
Please note: This position does not have the provision of Fly-In Fly-Out. Accommodation is fully self-funded.
Selection Criteria:
- excellent communication skills and engagement skills
- Certificate IV in TAE (40110)
- demonstrated experience in workplace training delivery, assessment and reporting
- high level of competence with Microsoft Suite
- mechanical and/or electrical trades with resource sector experience
- comprehensive understanding of WHS and risk management
Current driver licence
An attractive base salary, plus a smart phone, laptop, 9.5% superannuation and 17.5% leave loading will be on offer to the successful candidate.
The successful applicant will be required to undertake a Police Check and any State/Territory Working with Children Check (where applicable).
