Mechanical Tradesperson

D'Orsogna Ltd which is located SOR in Palmyra, WA has been established for over 68 years and is a recognised market leader, manufacturing quality continental gourmet meats, hams, bacon and smallgoods.

An opportunity has arisen to appoint a suitably qualified Mechanical Tradesperson to join our progressive maintenance team on a permanent full time basis. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in maintaining and supporting a range of high speed processing and packaging equipment and will be available to work on a rotating shift Monday to Friday.  The successful applicant will also possess:-

• Excellent communication skills
• Experience with trouble shooting and problem solving
• The flexibility in regards to working hours which may include working overtime and weekends
• The expertise and right attitude to contribute effectively to the Maintenance Team with a minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role
• Trade qualifications
• High level of numeracy and literacy skills
• Permanent Residency Status

Previous food industry experience and knowledge of steam raising and refrigeration plant would be a distinct advantage.

A competitive hourly rate and additional penalties are on offer to the right candidate.
