Service Technician
Our client is a leading global technology leader (Public Infrastructure IT solutions) with a significant prescence in the Global Market and is experiencing impressive growth here in Australia. With offices all over Australia and the world and some very enviable multi year service contracts, this company is looking for strong service technicians with Electrical Connect / Disconnect licenses to join their team here in Sydney.
Your role will see you working in a range of locations from Tolling Control Centers, to onsite at road tolling locations. The role requires dedicated individuals who are IT savvy, able build relationships through effective communication on site and able to work on call out rosters. The business can offer training, ongoing career paths and career development and a very good working environment.
Remuneration will be discussed with relevant candidates but will include Base Salary, Use of pool car, mobile phone and call out rates.
To be successful in your application for this role you must possess:
- Electrical connect / disconnect qualifications - Either held previously or hold in other states of Australia will also be considered - ESSENTIAL
- Previous experience in a service technician role working with technical equipment - from Fire Equipment, Train Signalling, HVAC, photocopier, electronics, security and business machines. Electricians are highly sought
- You have an outgoing personality
- The role predominantly deals with preventative maintenance
- Ability to fault find, diagnose problems and suggest solutions
- High attention to detail and willingness to complete maintenance work as well as mission critical break fix.
- Willingness to learn and develop your skills
- Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills
- You are willing and able to be on call out rosters.
