You will possess the skills and experience listed below to be successful in this role, which will see you ensure that our company plant and equipment is serviced and maintained in an effective and efficient manner. In return for your skills and experience, you will be given a competitive salary with an industry leading company.
The role being offered is a 12 month contract, with an opportunity to extend for the right candidate.
Some of your duties will be:
- Diagnosis, overhaul, repair and maintain all construction equipment.
- Assist in the detection of mechanical and electrical faults.
- Working within the integrated management system.
- Working with Cleaning Chemicals.
- Working outside a Workshop Environment.
- Welding and Fabrication.
- Carry out duties as per manufacturer's specifications.
- Complete and maintain Job Cards.
- Undertake maintenance work on site.
- Participate in Plant Familiarisation Tests.
- Comply with all WHSE site rules at all times.
You will possess the following:
- Heavy Duty Mechanic trade certificate.
- At least 3 years prior Heavy Duty Mechanic experience in the construction industry.
- Construction Safety Awareness Training (Blue / White Card).
- Current Western Australian Drivers Licence – Minimum HR.
- Consistent professional appearance, work ethic, and be honest, dependable and reliable.
- Australian working rights.
- Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical Examination, as well as Drug and Alcohol screen.
