Our client is a large and very successful company based in the Northern suburbs. They are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Fitter to join their team on day shift.
This role will commence on a casual basis, with the possibility of progression into a long term role for the right candidate.
The successful candidate will possess:
- A trade qualification in the field
- Previous rail experience
- Previous mechanical experience with the ability to learn and develop is advantageous
- Exceptional attention to detail and communication skills
- Proven reliability, punctuality, and commitment
- The flexibility of working hours
Responsibilities in this role include but are not limited to:
- Fitting and assembling parts
- Manufacturing and repairing equipment
- Inspection and maintenance of machinery
- Fault-finding
- General maintenance as required
