Experienced Workshop Managers are invited to join one of the most trusted and progressive auto repair and tyre retailers in the country, recognised for its modern equipment, excellent working conditions, and outstanding customer service.
 
Current Workshop Controllers/2ICs/Foremen ready to move up in their career are also welcome to apply.

Role

Reporting to the Area Operations Manager, you are to manage the day-to-day business of the workshop.  In this role, you are expected to be a hands-on leader; planning, delegating and scheduling work, coaching and supervising mechanics on the tools.

You will look after the development and retention of staff, as well as the attainment of customer service satisfaction and store budgets for wages, sales and profits.

A solid understanding of Workplace Health & Safety, and the ability to identify training opportunities for the team are likewise essential.

You will be given the autonomy to make decisions on how best to deliver excellent customer service, to continuously build client relations and increase customer-base, and ultimately achieving consistently agreed performance targets.

Requirements

• Successful management experience in light vehicle retail service,
• Excellent leadership and customer service skills, 
• High motivation to succeed, and a genuine interest to further develop a career in this industry, and 
• Full trade qualification as a Light Vehicle Motor Mechanic.
